Next April, the Saratoga Community Band will have the rare and extraordinary honor of performing on this world-famous stage. This isn’t just a trip; it’s a testament to the years of practice, passion, and community support that have built our ensemble into what it is today.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we are committed to making this dream accessible to every one of our members, regardless of their financial situation. With that in mind, we are hoping to defray some of the overall cost through donations to the band. Welcome to the online home of The Saratoga Community Band, in Saratoga CA. The band was founded in 1989, and numbers between 50 and 80 musicians each semester, ranging in age from 16 to 80+.
Membership in the band is open to musicians of all ages and skill levels. For more information, please see our webpage entitled Join Us.
We rehearse Monday evenings in the Saratoga High School band room, under the direction of Steve Barnhill.
The band performs several concerts each year, all performances are open to the public, and there is no charge to attend. We would love to see you at our next concert: concert dates and locations can be found on our Concert Schedule page.
